HAPPY SUMMER VACATION !

So much to celebrate, Kent and Kristen had a party to celebrate it ALL ! Today Sharon and Bob, H and I drove down to Ft. Lauderdale to the K's new home to partake in the celebration, along with some neighbors, co workers and friends. It was a GOOD party and a good time was had by all !

Kent and Kristen decided to give up their house in Wilton Manors in favor of a town house, also in Wilton Manors. Both places had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Town house is much cheaper to run monthly and there is no yard work or up keep out side. There is a small patio that overlooks a canal and it is just beautiful. There are stairs for Smith to climb and for the dog and 2 cats to chase each other up and down. It seems to be a win win for everyone.

The drive down was uneventful and we had a great time meeting friends of the happy family. Smith even had a little friend come to the party and the 2 boys had nothing to do with each other. Kent BBQ'd and the beer flowed. It was a super hot day so everyone stayed in doors but there was plenty of room for all.

I think we exhausted Sharon and Bob these past few days and I get the feeling they are looking forward to going home and resting. They still haven't found any place to rent but they sure are getting to see the East coast of Florida.
