HAVING A GREAT TIME

My BFF and her husband are visiting and we are having a great time. They only arrived yesterday and we haven't stopped talking and laughing since they got here.
Yesterday from the airport we went to our favorite "WELCOME TO FLORIDA" restaurant and had drinks and snacks at the water front bar. Actually the bar is in the water sticking out from the restaurant into the inter coastal waterway. Thus the name, THE WATERWAY.  It was a great start to their visit.
Today we all loafed around and swam in our pool till it was time to go get something to eat. Sharon and Bob's biggest complaint about coming to visit us is that all we do is eat! Which is true but living in South Florida there are just so many fantastic places to dine that we have to show them as many as we can on their visits. IF they would come down more often we could slow down on the eating. Today's adventure was to the jungle and GUANNABANAS. Once again we headed for the bar and had drinks and snacks. Yesterdays celebrating left me drinking ice tea today but the boys had a drink for us. The snacks were EXCELLENT and Bob and I bought some "jelly" sauce to bring home. It was served with the chicken and conch fritters and was soooooooooooooooo  good we decided to get some for the next couple of days. From there it was back to the house to rest and recover before tonight's base ball game.   It was an "iffy" night so we sat up under the overhang at the stadium and sure enough around the 4th inning it started to rain.  The game went on for another 6 innings when our team hit a home run and won the game.
Now it's time to get some sleep before we go condo hunting tomorrow. Oh, did I mention that Sharon and Bob are looking for a place to rent this coming winter? Wouldn't that just be the best.  Having my BFF here for 3 months!  I can't wait !
